Thailand believes in NAM’s potential

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Addressing NAM meeting of foreign ministers, Tovichakchaikul said "I am certain that NAM will play an important role in bridging divides and helping the world cross confidentially into a future of peace and well-being for all."He said Thailand aims to do more, including in the field of securing peace and security.More than 100 countries are taking part in the NAM meeting which kicked off at the expert level in Tehran on Sunday.The foreign ministers of the NAM member states held a meeting from Tuesday to Wednesday.The meeting of the heads of state and government will open on Thursday with an inaugural speech by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.NAM, an international organization with 120 member states, is considered as a body not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. /219
